Alister & Paine Review of 2008 Fourteen
August 07, 2013
Summary : One of the most decadent and compelling red blends we’ve encountered in recent memory…a runaway hit with anyone lucky enough to have tasted it. Noticeable are the fine grain, well integrated tannins, nice acidity and great balance from an almost jammy start to a softer lingering finish. The wine is well structured, layered and age worthy.

Tastings.com Review of 2008 Fourteen
93 Points/Gold Medal. Deep garner black color. Aromas and flavors of roasted pepper, cassis pie, floral honeycomb, and dill pickle with silky, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a plush creamy vanilla and chocolate accented finish with seamless acidity and tannins. A flavorful artfully crafted red blend that will shine at the table. (tasted on Aug-07-2012 by Beverage Testing Institute)

Wine Enthusiast Review 2003
92 Points! 2003 Thirteen Napa Valley Meritage. The wine, which is based on Cab Sauv, comes from 13 Napa appellations, hence the name. The wine is distinguished, showing lots of lush, forward cassis and cocoa flavor. Has the smoothness of a great old Cognac. Drink now-2013. --S.H. (8/1/2006)
