The 2009 vintage of FIFTEEN is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 17% Cabernet Franc from all fifteen sub-appellations within the Napa Valley.
The wine is a balanced fusion of red and dark fruits, full of red currant, blueberry, tobacco and light leather. Hints of subtle earth compliment the fruit components without overpowering them. An allover voluminous rich mouth feel…very comfortable. The year allowed for riper growing conditions and the addition of the warmest growing region, Calistoga, shows in the wine. Only 665 cases produced.
